We have added a new category Animals. You can now benefit from new links in this category. To add this category into your site, log into your account http://www.webmasterlagoon.com/automate/ac_edit_domain.php and click 'Edit' near your site. Then tick the checkbox 'Animal' and click 'Save' at the bottom of the page. And You are done!

We added update-thru-FTP feature to the WL Automatic Links Exchanger. This means it can now be hosted on any server and operating system regardless of the programming language your web site is written: PHP, ASP, ASP.net, Ruby on Rails etc.
There's no more need to set 777 rights to the script's folder and ask your hosting provider to allow you open remote URLs.
We strongly recommend all existing users who were unable to use the WL Automatic Links Exchanger to reinstall it. The installation process is completely automated and is indeed very simple!

We have improved the Context links feature in the WL Professional Links Exchanger.
Now all the links you add/modify are reflected INSTANTLY instead of 5 second delay like it was in the previous version.

All WL Professional Links Exchanger will have to add these 2 files in their script's folder:
a_ctxl.php
context_links.php
You can delete manual_links.php and ml_update.php
Also you should change the code on your pages. Replace manual_links.php with context_links.php

We also improved the Disable All function to disable inactive link partners on massive scale who don't have a back link to your site.

New file add-url.php has been added to the script. Now you have 2 options of the Public Submission/Sign-up Page: multiple and single.
add-url.php is a single public submission form which is hosted on your site. You can customize the code to your needs. Look for instructions in the readme.txt file inside the script.

We removed the obligatory apache mod_rewrite!
Now any server supporting PHP can host our software!

We introduced a state-of-the-art Public Sign-up Page!
Now get rid of the hassle of finding new link partners. The whole process is completely automated!
Just Set up the criteria your link partners should meet such as: minimum Page Rank, should the page be cached by Google, maximum number of links on the page etc. and our software will automatically check all the sites submitted into the database. Then you will only have to approve those who passed our system's test. That's it!

We have set added several options to customize the look of your link pages even better.
Now 2 options are available both for newbies in Html and professionals.
Log in and click "Edit my domains" link on the right navigation bar, then click "Edit" beside your web site, then click "Main Links Directory Format" to customize directory.php and "Category Links Page Format" to customize showdirectory.php

On our users request, now when you add a link partner we also check Yahoo back links. Since it's a convenient way to see all the inbound links to that web site.

A new feature is now available at WebmasterLagoon.com!
Now whenever you check your back links using "Check All" button our software checks for everything any webmaster ever dreamed of!
Not only presence of you link is checked on your partners sites, but also a cached by google copy of the page, the time of last cache, the presence of your link in cached page, rel=nofollow in the link, nofolow, noidex in the , Google Page Rank is also checked.
Note: "Check All" checking can be done with sites you have already successfully swapped links. Sites must be at least 30 days old in our database, since there's no need to check google cache earlier.
Google cache, pr, link presence in the cache are check only when you hit "Check All" button.
When you hit "Check new" everything except google cache is checked.

We have installed a built-in Link Popularity tool.
Now whenever you add a link partner to the database, it's main site url and back link url google Page Rank, Google Back links and Alexa Rank are received and written into the database so that you could easily see who are you swapping links with.

We have also improved our Help section with more answers to your questions. Now you can add a preceding (or closing) short article into your link pages.

We launched an affiliate program. When someone clicks your affiliate link a lifetime cookie is set to the user's browser. When he/she signs up your affiliate id is placed into the database along with the user's details and you will get a lifetime commission of $2 on the 1 level and $1 on the second level. With this affiliate program one could easily earn $2000-3000 a month in residual income just doing active link exchange. Since we place your affiliate link on every page of your links pages.

We have added Context Links (Content Links) feature.
Read more about it in the Help section. For old users to enable this new feature, you must download a new zip archive with our script from your account panel on the "Edit my domains" page. Upload to your server only manual_links.php and ml_list_update.php files, and leave the rest unchanged. Read the readme.txt for instructions of how to use Context Links.

You can now add your link partners into your link pages as articles limited up to 5000 chars. Insert your link partner html code inside the article.
Don't forget to fill in the "Site URL" field and omit "Site Title:" on the "Add Link Partner Site" page.
